About Electelstar

Technology should earn its place at home.

Electelstar is a bilingual guide to the practical side of connected homes and everyday electronics. We focus on the decisions around a device: where it goes, how it fits your routine, what needs checking and how to look after it.

Useful guidance, not invented testing

These articles are explanatory guides, not laboratory reports or hands-on product reviews. We do not claim to have tested products unless an article explicitly describes a real test. Photos illustrate a topic; they are not evidence of a review or an endorsement of the pictured brand.

A little context goes a long way

A router in an open-plan flat and one behind thick walls face different jobs. The same is true for a lamp, a vacuum or a speaker. Our starting point is your situation, rather than a universal ranking or a promised saving.

Corrections welcome

Device instructions and software can change. Check the current manufacturer instructions for your exact model, especially for cleaning, installation and electrical safety. If a guide needs updating, please email ozcan@electelstar.de with its URL.
