What this website does

Electelstar provides public articles without an account, checkout, newsletter registration or contact form. The website code does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Images, styles and search functionality are served with the site rather than loaded from third-party image or font providers.

Reading and searching

Searching and filtering take place in your browser. Search terms are not sent to an Electelstar search server. The hosting provider processes technical request information, including the IP address, to deliver pages and maintain security. Hosting access logs may be retained according to the provider’s configuration.

Language choice

When you manually choose German or English, the site stores that preference in a first-party cookie for up to one year and in browser local storage. You can remove both through browser settings. Where the supplied geographic routing integration is enabled, a country code derived by the hosting edge from the request IP selects the initial language. An unknown region falls back to English. This is an approximation of region, not a judgement about a person’s language. Plain static hosting does not perform this geographic selection by itself.

Email and outside links

If you email ozcan@electelstar.de, your address and message are used to handle the enquiry. Do not include sensitive information unnecessarily. External technical references and your email provider have their own privacy practices. This site does not receive the contents of messages until you send them.
